Episode 3: "3 Seconds Faster, and You Survive!" — The "Dimensional Reduction" Strike Tactics of Infrared Laser on the Anti-UAV Battlefield
Having top-tier hardware — does that mean you've already won?
No. On the anti-UAV battlefield, tactical employment is the key to victory. In a 10-second interception window, being 3 seconds faster means survival.
In this episode, we break down two core application tactics of infrared laser in anti-UAV operations:
Tactic One: Zero-Delay Slewing
Conventional laser illuminators take 3 seconds to zoom. But in a 10-second death window, that's too extravagant. Our strategy: keep the laser illuminator at its minimum angle by default, concentrating energy to the maximum. When the radar directs the turret to slew instantly, the beam synchronizes into position — response time drops to zero. Those 3 seconds saved are enough to complete a precise target re-identification.
Tactic Two: Elevated Strike
Don't limit yourself to 2 km illuminators — go straight to 5 km-class high-power equipment. Its beam spot at 2,000 meters can cover a 70-meter diameter — even if the radar has errors and the target is maneuvering wildly, it can never escape your "light net," drastically improving first-acquisition success rate. If switched to a smaller angle, beam energy density increases 4 times, instantly revealing target contours even in light fog and dust, greatly compressing AI identification time.
This is the "time privilege" and "spatial dividend" that infrared laser brings — making your system see farther, react faster, and hit more accurately.
Trade technology for time, trade time for winning odds. This is the core logic of future anti-UAV operations.
